16. August 2008: Regarding the ENEMY OF THE SUN show with Gus Chambers (GRIP INC.) The following is a message from Waldemar Sorychta regarding the show his band ENEMY OF THE SUN will play with his former GRIP INC. colleague Gus Chambers: ----- Many people have asked questions about this show. Here are some answers. Is this a reunion? No, this is and will be a very exclusive show. No reunion. How long will the GRIP INC. set be? We are planing about 40 minutes. And here's the full plan to clear up all misunderstandings: ENEMY OF THE SUN will play a regular set (40 min), then the band will play a complete set of GRIP INC. songs with Gus Chambers for about 40 min, including songs from the last album 'Incorporated', for which the band did not tour. July 2008: ENEMY OF THE SUN to play set of GRIP INC. songs with Gus Chambers  GRIP INC. have been quiet for a while and their mainman Waldemar Sorychta busy with his new band ENEMY OF THE SUN, but fans are in for a special treat: ENEMY OF THE SUN will play a set of GRIP INC. songs with GRIP INC. singer Gus Chambers on August 16 at Zeche, Bochum! Zechen Summer Noise Pt. I – Open Air: ENEMY OF THE SUN featuring a set of GRIP INC. songs with Gus Chambers: 16.08.2008 D-Bochum, Zeche Special Guests: Shotgun Wedding + Positive Strike This marks a reunion of two main players of this seminal Thrash band, that also featured drummer Dave Lombardo (Slayer) on their four records from 1995 to 2004. Everybody who has witnessed ENEMY OF THE SUN tearing up the festivals this summer and even whipping out GRIP INC. classics like 'Ostracized' for good measure, will know that this show will kick some serious ass! The GRIP INC. set will be the highlight of ENEMY OF THE SUN's headlining show. Support will come from SHOTGUN WEDDING and POSITIVE STRIKE. The show starts at 6.45pm, doors open at 5pm. December 2007: Waldemar to attend Release Party in New York Waldemar Sorychta will attend the CD-release party for ENEMY OF THE SUN's debut, "Shadows", on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Europa in Brooklyn, New York (an event hosted by The End Records as part of the bi-monthly NWOBHM nights at the venue). Throughout the night he will meet all you guys that show up while music from "Shadows" is being played. There will also be live performances from four metal bands. Reactions are generally great so far: Apart from “Album of the month” at the mighty Rock Hard (D) with 8,5 out of 10, we reached #6 at the equally mighty Metal Hammer (D) with 6 out of 7.
